Integrated Building Technology (IBT) is a series of architecture courses that inform students on different building materials, environmental factors of design, and exposure to new program and rendering skills.
IBT 1 (Spring 2023)
After learning several brick stacking bonds, we had a lab to put our knowledge into hands-on practice in teams to display the different bond styles. Earlier in the semester, we were tasked to experiment with designing our own concrete mold. As a class, each student's mold was tested as concrete was poured and cured.

During the environmental technology portion of the course, students were tasked with creating a digital sun shading device model and developing renders at different times of the day to experiment with natural light.
